Feature | Description |
Filter Outbound Calling List by Date | In the Contact Center Administrator application, outbound voice service and campaign lists to be uploaded can be filtered by date. |
Microsoft Web Exchange Service Support | Email scenario entries can be configured for Microsoft Exchange email retrieval and email sending. The new server protocol works with Exchange 2013, Outlook.com, and Hotmail.com managed services. |
Stop Recording on External Call Transfer | For voice services, you can discontinue call recording upon transferring a call to an external number. |
Zendesk UI Update | In alignment with Zendesk's updated user interface, Bright Pattern's integrated Zendesk Agent Desktop user interface features new tab background colors, icons, and more. |
Web-Initiated SMS Conversation | A new mobile API method enables customers who initiate a chat on a website to continue the conversation via SMS text messages on their phones. |
Redshift DB driver | A new driver introduces the capability to add a database connection to Amazon Redshift. Contact Bright Pattern for more details. |
Old .NET API - merge from 3.13. | DESCRIPTION |
Firefox Extensions Instead of NPAPI Support | In response to Firefox disabling NPAPI support in version 52 (as of March 2017) and completely removing NPAPI support in version 53, Bright Pattern is switching to using extensions in Firefox. The extension code is packaged in the BPClient.exe installer, so users need only download and run the installer to get Agent Desktop to run properly in Firefox. |
Salesforce.com (SFDC) Email Routing | Bright Pattern Contact Center routes Salesforce.com emails to agents working in Agent Desktop. Agents can draft replies, view/write activity history associated with the emails, and view Salesforce.com records associated with the emails--all from the Agent Desktop application. |
Java Apps Logging to syslog | Now both Java-based servers and C++-based components log their error and above output to syslog, as defined in Configuration.cfg, which allows for centralized error logs for fast triage in case of issues. |
TCP Connection to CRM server | DESCRIPTION |
Agents Without Registered Phones Stay Logged In | Agents remain logged in to Agent Desktop, even when the phone is not registered. |
Extensions to Support Additional Request Headers | The Fetch URL scenario block now allows for extra headers to be added to the Fetch URL request. Headers are added as functions. |
Enable TLS Version 1.1/1.2 in All Java Components | Bright Pattern Java servers and C++ servers that may invoke Salesforce services (i.e., the Scenario Engine) enable/support TLS version 1.2. Bright Pattern Contact Center version 3.15 release notes contain instructions on enabling TLS version 1.2 if startup scripts have changed. |
New Integration API | A new integration API enables recording to be paused or stopped when a web page is loaded. |
