Scenario Builder Reference Guide
Search Directory
This block checks the phone numbers of the configured static entries to see if any of them matches the specified number. If a match is found, the block updates the specified variable with the name of the static entry. This block can be used, for example, to substitute the caller ID number of an incoming call with the contact name, when the call is delivered to user’s desktop.
Conditional Exits
- Not Found – The supplied number does not match any directory entries.
Settings
Number to search – The number to look up or the name of the variable which holds the number, e.g., $(item.from).
Variable to save name to – The name of the variable to update with the name of the matching static entry, e.g., $(item.fullName).
